Meet Ole Glory K9s

“From a young age, I’ve always had a special bond with animals, particularly dogs. This bond deepened during a challenging period in my childhood following my parents’ divorce, when my dog, Brady, became an unacknowledged support animal for me. My passion for understanding dogs was sparked in school when I chose a book about various working dogs. This interest grew with each book I read, and over time, people began to affectionately refer to me as a ‘dog whisperer.’ While I’m modest about the title, I have a profound understanding of dogs, their communication, and body language.

After high school, I joined the United States Marine Corps, where I had the honor of learning from some of the world’s best dog trainers. Now, I’m married to my wonderful wife, Megan, a registered nurse, and a proud father to Lliam, 10, and Paitynn, 7. Our family is completed by our three dogs: Bella, a 12-year-old yellow lab; Tucker, an 8-year-old yellow lab mix; and Zoey, a 2-year-old black lab-border collie mix.

During a challenging period of my life, I turned to volunteer work at a local dog rescue. This experience allowed me to use my lifelong knowledge while gaining new skills in rehabilitating dogs rescued from high-kill shelters. Working alongside the head trainer and owner, I deepened my understanding and approach to dog training and care.

My life experiences, from personal bonds with dogs to professional training insights, have shaped my philosophy: understanding and communicating with dogs on a deeper level to create harmonious relationships between pets and their owners.”
